Beau Pinto was born on September 16th 1990 in Toronto, Canada.
Beau showed his first sign that he was an entrepreneur when he was 2 years old. That Easter morning, his mom caught him trying to reach the handle of the front door in his diaper. When she asked what he was doing, he confidently replied "I'm going to sell my easter eggs", like it was no big deal.
At 8 years old, Beau started his first business using the stuffed animals his grandma won at the Bingo halls. He sold over 125 units and was responsible for the largest donation to his school's christmas toy drive.
Throughout his teenage years he quickly progressed through the retail chain management industry and at 18 years old managed 2 retail locations in two provinces.
After working 60 hours a week as an account manager for a mobile phone company doing business to business sales, Beau decided to take his last 8 years of business research and apply it to his most recent idea. During this time he managed to shorten his work weeks from 60hrs to 10 hrs without sacrificing any income. Now with all of his bills paid and the freedom to live any life he could imagine for himself, he decided to start travelling the world and teaching his methods to youth.
His mission is to help students shorten their work weeks to provide them with more time to focus on school, extra curricular activities and trying to maintain a social life. It can be very difficult for young people to make money. Most students can only qualify for minimum wage jobs, which is usually not enough, especially for students who live on their own.
We also live in a society that glorifies crime and the money that can be made from it. Schools are filled with students every day that are selling and trading illegal merchandise in order to make some quick money. Beau hopes that with his workshops he can teach youth that they can make more money safely if they do it legally.
The reason Beau has been able to reach 65,000 followers on Twitter and has kids from around Toronto asking him to come to their schools is because they can relate to him. When they see someone their own age so ambitious and successful they get excited because that means that they can do it too!
